ABOUT US

We believe in a thriving, self-reliant Africa

THE BELIEF

Africa has the opportunity to leap forward.

The continent has the best renewable resources in the world, the youngest and fastest-growing population and the chance to build an energy landscape without inheriting a failing one.

Most of the capital that reaches the continent arrives short-term or extractive and leaves little behind. We take the opposite view. Our mission is to power Africa’s growth from the ground up by helping lay the foundations of an energy ecosystem that fuels development and brings power and resources to billions.

Philanthropy is part of that. We support philanthropic initiatives that expand opportunity and strengthen local agency. Our ambition is simple: communities that are better equipped to shape their own futures, and families, villages and nations that can thrive with growing confidence and self-reliance.
