Sudip Shyam
CEO, MISA FZC
Sudip Shyam leads Misa FZC’s base oils and lubricants business, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the downstream oil industry. Since joining Misa in 2020, he has been instrumental in building and leading the group’s global base oils trading slate.
His career spans international trading, general management, and business development across base oils and automotive, industrial, and specialty lubricants. He previously headed the base oils trading desk at Optima Energy in Geneva, led the lubricants business for Conoil in Nigeria, and held senior roles with GP Global, Valvoline, Total, Castrol, and Gulf Oil.
A regular speaker at international base oils and lubricants conferences, he is a recognised voice on the fast-growing demand for base oils across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
